If there is a key to effective comprehensive community development, it may be a community’s ability to recruit and train new leaders, as well as the ability of its local community based organizations to hire, develop and promote talented people. But dynamic leadership doesn’t just happen. It has to be nurtured, cultivated and rewarded.
This section includes tools and strategies for developing resident leaders, and for community based organizations leading the development or implementation of a comprehensive community development program.
