Responsible Housing and Asset Management for the 21st Century

The Consortium for Housing and Asset Management (CHAM) is a collaboration of leaders in nonprofit affordable housing production and community development: Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Enterprise Community Partners, and NeighborWorks America. CHAM works to build the capacity of nonprofit housing developers, owners and managers to manage and preserve affordable rental housing responsibly and professionally.

If your business includes affordable housing production, preservation or ownership, you’ll want to check out what CHAM can offer you:

  • Training to help Asset Management professionals improve project and portfolio performance;
  • A professional certification, the Certified Housing Asset ManagerTM; and
  • An annual conference that brings together peers and thought leaders from across the affordable housing industry.

Through these activities, CHAM advances financial and community building standards of excellence that help the affordable housing industry maintain the long-term strength and viability of its assets.

In a half-hour “flash webinar,” a panel of CHAM instructors and members recently discussed the organization and what it has to offer. Check out the recorded webinar and the presentation to see for yourself. Find more information on the CHAM website.
